The raids went down on Tuesday, April 9, following a lengthy investigation into narcotics sales and activity at Shirley Avenue in Fishkill and the Red Roof Inn in Poughkeepsie, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the Drug Task Force.

At the same time, agents were executing a search warrant on a home at 125 Shirley Ave., Fishkill, he added.

Recovered during the search warrant and arrests were approximately 10 grams of cocaine, 15 containers of Xanax, 115 doses of MDMA (Ecstacy), 4 doses of Suboxone, 30 bags of Marijuana, as well as scales and packaging materials, Tasciotti said.

All three arrested were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail.

Potter is being held without bail. King and Alexander are being held on $20,000 bail.

The town of Poughkeepsie Police Department detective and patrol divisions assisted with the arrests.
